Meaning "Little Bowl", Kommetjie is named after its circular bowl-like sea basin. The quaint village, famous for its surf, is situated along the Atlantic coast fo the Southern Cape Peninsula.

It is located in the Victoria Mall and offers two types of long and short trips. Honestly, it is worth the experience because you will see Cape Town from above, and the view is amazing.

We were in a helicopter with a capacity for 6 guests. Very comfortable and has to be experienced to be believed. One of the best views ever. Definitely worth it! Staff very nice, short introduction via video, and then we get started.

We should have spoken with NAC directly at first. NAC gave us a very warm welcome, a professional and kind pilot and tour guide and last but not least, great photos and videos were taken of our family after we landed. Thank you, NAC crew, for a great experience!!

Karishma Nishant TibarewalReview on August, 2025Unforgettable way to see Cape TownI had a great experience with NAC Helicopters Cape Town! ✔️ They have lockers available to safely store your belongings before the ride. ❌ DSLR cameras and tripods are not allowed during the tour for safety reasons. ⚖️ Your weight is checked in advance, and seating is assigned based on balance and safety protocols. 📸 After the tour, they give you plenty of time to click photos and enjoy the view from the helipad. Very professional service and an unforgettable way to see Cape Town from above!
